I have wanted a breast augmentation ever since I stopped breastfeeding my now 7 year-old son, Riley. I stopped breast feeding Riley when he was 6 months and even though I had had small breasts my entire adult life, I had always been very fond of my breasts before I fed my son with them. They were symmetrical, perky, round and in my eyes, perfect. I never thought that such an amazing experience with my son would do such damage to my breasts. Obviously my breasts increased in size during my pregnancy and during breastfeeding, when I stopped, it seems my breasts had every intention to go back to the way they were before my pregnancy, but the breast tissue that was once plumped by my full milk ducts was now very empty, very saggy, very... ugly. So,I have wanted to fill these suckers up with silicone/saline ever since I noticed their droopy appearance in my bathroom mirror about 6 years and 4 months ago.
I wanted to get my BA in Lima, Peru originally (and really, up until recently) because I have had every PS procedure done there in the past, by the same fantastic surgeon, at a much more forgivable rate than what is charged for any procedure stateside.
when I was 21, I had a chin augmentation as well as lipo all around my midriff. My chin cost me $400.00 and the complete back and front lipo of my waist (which removed 2 liters of fat) cost me $1000.00.
In 2011 (age 29) I decided to have rhinoplasty while I was visiting my family in Lima, I had a minimally "bowed-out" bridge that when I smiled or laughed caused the tip of my nose to hang a little too low for my liking. It was a "closed" rhinoplasty, the surgeon straightened out my bridge and shortened the tip of my nose. No one can really tell, since I neither had a "big" nose or a noticeable lump on the bridge of it (of course I experienced all the normal aftermath of a rhinoplasty since it still was very much a procedure that required the "breaking" of my bridge). This was my 3rd procedure done in Peru that gave me results that I was 110% pleased with.
I have always, and will always be very proud of the work I have had done in Lima, Peru by this particular surgeon. I want to make it clear that I am not opposed to getting my breasts done there by her, but that after some simple cost analysis, I came to the conclusion that for the first time, the cost of going there (airfare, surgery + missed days at work in order to stay for all my post-op visits and be cleared to fly back) ended up being a lot more money than getting my breast augmentation here, in Orlando.
I apologize for getting a little off topic, I did find the need to share that I am not a newbie to PS but I am when it comes to doing it stateside, which I am sure will be just as pleasant of an experience.
I have my consultation appointment booked for the 19th of February with Dr. Jon Trevisani.
I hope that he approves me for surgery and that after I complete all my pre-op requirements that I can have the soonest date available for my BA!!!!
I am looking to go from a small, droopy B, to a nice large C, small D... I am sure that means so many different things to different people. What I can say, is that I want to go a little bigger than what I had originally planned, since the one thing I hear from all my friends that got a BA is that they wish they had gone a little bigger. So with that said, I wanted regular Cs ( Grapefruits) so I am bumping up to what might be described in the fruit world as mid-size Cantaloupes , lol.
I am so excited, since I know a few people that have gone to Dr. Trevisani for their BA, and they are all very pleased with the results, the Dr. and his staff.
I will upload the before pictures after my first consultation.
