“2 Months After Full Tt W Mr, Hernia Repair and Hysterectomy After Gastric Bypass Weight Loss”
Spent: $30,000 in Macon, GA

I had a full tummy tuck, with MR and hernia repair and hysterectomy on 7/30. Until now I have been healing without incident.
Right after my 2 month check up I fell while bending over the tub bathing my children. I hit my left side on the tub. Since then I have have tremedous pain, to the point you cant even touch it. I waited a month and my husband convinced me to go see my PCP. She did not feel anything different from the other side. Its hard to tell if it looks sifferent since I still have swelling and still wear garments.
pros...took away the pain and difficulities I was having prior to surgery from the excess skin, looks great
cons...hurts like h&**!!! Long recovery.
My insurance paid for mine since I have lost 175 pounds from gastric bypass in 2004. Was having problems numerous problems from the amount of excess skin left from the weight loss. Only wanted to have one surgery since I am anemic so we opted to do the hernia repair and hysterectomy at the same time.
My question is this: is it possible I messed somthing up? Or maybe just over stretched the fascia? But it seems like over a month later it would be better. This hurts to just touch my skin not to mention the inside when I am just setting down. This is the side they did the hernia repair on. I am waiting on a CT to be down but would like some insight....PLEASEThis review is the subjective opinion of a RealSelf member and not of RealSelf, Inc.
