Loved the Results, Hated the Experience

Worth It
Spent: $900 in Encinitas
I have seen a common theme: juvederm is not the best alternative for under the eyes! My Doc said the molecules a bigger than restylane - maybe that is why there is excess swelling and bruising?! Especially given that the eye area contains thinner and more sensitive skin. I used restylane for over a year, and although loved the results, found that after two months, my face seemed to fall again. I use it for marrinette lines, various lines in my face and lips to smooth out lines. My first Doc left bruises. My current Doc has not bruised at all! So it is possible that bruising correlates with the injector. Doc recommended using juvederm for the lines because of the larger molecules. I did, and she was right, it lasted much longer. However, she did not want to use it for my lips, and I have continued to use restalyne for my lips with good results. Hope this helps!
