IPL was worth it: Love the results

I had IPL this summer for freckles and facial spider veins. It was uncomfortable. There was no numbing cream like with Fraxel. I did have a lot of swelling as well as the freckles actually turned black (looked like pepper) and peeled off 3 to 5 days after the procedure. Literature says you can return to work the following day. Luckily, I had eyelid revision at the same time and had taken the entire week off. One week following IPL my skin looked incredible. Co-workers kept asking what I had done to make my skin look so young. Uncomfortable, however, visible results make the pain worth it.
