VI Peel Causes Additional Pigmentation - Los Angeles, CA

I have indian skin and have slight natural pigmentation around my mouth and cheek. I wanted to clean my skin by removing my dead skin with a decent peel. I choose vi peel and started peeling on the fourth day. I noticed that I have light streaks across my cheeks from the peeling and it really shows against the other areas that got darker. I am very worried that this will be permanent. It is now day 7 going on day 8 and I still see this visible disparity. I am also still very dry, cracked, and burned. My pigmented areas got darker as well. Will they start to blend in or go away? I am very worried and regret doing this

How is your skin doing now?

Hi novipeel,

Thanks for the review. I'm sorry you are dealing with this. It sounds like Hyperpigmentation. Have you gone back to your doctor, they will probably be able to give you more info. Please keep us updated.

Although the vi peel may not help me, the esthetician was very informative
