6 month or so update

I noticed a lot of people don't really update after a month of their surgery so I thought I'd do a quick update. Was smartlipo really worth it? Eh.. yes, it did absolutely help with my lower bulge area, but i still have some fat left in some areas (lower ab and rib area). I'm hoping to schedule another appointment with my surgeon to address these two areas.

The last 6 months i wasn't really good about my fitness - and my eating was about 50/50 so given that, I feel like these results are real - there definitely are visual changes and are definitely due to the surgery. But to really get where I am going, I need to be much better about my work outs! Anyways, hope this helps anyone who is on the fence about getting the surgery.

Results

Some before/after to see the results I've experience
Top = 4 days post inner thigh and 2 months post abs and flanks
Bottom = 1 day post my first lipo procedure

I need to go get a spray tan haha

Inner thigh update

Before getting my inner thighs done, I did a search on here for other people's recovery and there wasn't much (most people do their abs!) so I'm hoping this can help some other people

I'm 4 days post and feel amazing - the recovery on my legs seems to have gone much more smoother that my abs (which my lower ab is still swollen and hard lumps but I'd say about 95% there)

I purchased compression capris from the clinic I went to and I hated them. They had an opening in the crouch area to allow access to the bathroom without removing. While that would've been great if I had my outer thighs done but the cutout cut right into my thigh and I started to notice denting after the first night (no Bueno!) so I ditched them. I had a pair of compression leggings that I've been wearing during the days sometimes but in all honesty, I haven't been wearing them and feel fine (I don't think that would've been the case for my flanks and abs - they were way more sensitive so the compressions really helped)

At night, I've been sleeping with two pillows under my knees and that's helped with swelling a lot. I stopped taking the pain meds after the first day because I felt like I didn't need them any longer - I definitely am bruised and I'm sure the bruising would've been less had I worn the compression more but they will disappear soon I'm sure.

I also had my lower flanks done to get rid of the muffin top I had which is still swollen but that'll go down soon I'm sure - I really want to go to the gym but I know I need to rest for a few more days - maybe I'll just do a bunch of ab and arm stuff.. Which that's one thing I've noticed is as the lumps disappeared from my lower an area, it's no longer hard and I feel like it needs to be toned up - maybe I might actually see some abs now! How cool would that be

Upon arrival to the clinic, I was a little unsure as it's not in the best area of town - however, don't let that steer you away. I met with Alice first to discuss the procedure, budget and what I wanted to get done. Dr Asmar came in and examined me and chatted and he was great. Super nice, friendly and I really felt like he wanted me to get great results. This really pushed me in my decision to go with him because I didn't feel like I was just another patient to make money off of. He genuinely wanted to make me look my best. The clinic also knew I wanted to get the procedure done quickly and fit me in within a week which was so awesome! During the surgery, he talked with me and distracted me to help me feel at ease. I can't recommend him enough and made the whole process something I will look back on with positive feelings instead of anxiety.
