“Invisilign - Great So Far! - Los Angeles, CA”

I am a 41 year-old male that has always had crooked teeth. I was in a rugby accident in college and got veneers on the upper four front teeth, so those were cosmetically straightened by that procedure. My bottom teeth are still crowded toward the front with one tooth overlapping another by about a half a tooth.

Dr. K told me a number of options to remedy this, but I was reluctant to the thought of any procedure taking 8 months to 2 years to complete. We discussed traditional braces, veneers, and Invisilign. He not only gave me a comprehensive overview of ALL the procedures, he showed me before and after pictures of HIS clients, not just the beautiful ones in the Invisilign brochure. He discussed the positives and negatives for each procedure and left it up to me to make a decision.

I pulled the trigger about two months later and went with Invisilign after reading the reviews and doing some research(even after reading California Crookedteeth's negative reviews) and can honestly say this is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Sure, there was the initial break-in period, my teeth were sore at first, and I had to get used to speaking with an appliance in my mouth, but the results are better than expected after halfway completing the procedure(BTW-I have to wear both trays although I am concentrating on my lower teeth). My total oral hygene has improved as well, something I was unfortunately not very good at before Invisilign.

I find most of the negative reviews for Invisilign as sour grapes - l am the one with bad teeth the dentist is trying to improve for me, I fully understand the inherent problems of moving 41 year-old bones around in one of the most sensitive and visually targeted part of my body, so there will be work involved on my part as well. There is no magic bullet for crooked teeth, so as soon as you quit complaining and get over yourself you'll be amazed what the results can bring.

I would highly recommend Invisilign to anyone who is a good candidate over traditional braces(which I had as a teenager).
