I've been on Invisalign for almost 2 years. My teeth were crooked but not extreme.
The process is very slow and you gotta constantly take them off to eat or drink hot coffee and sometimes you forget to put them back on or you get too lazy to brush your teetch again and reattach them etc...It's quite a pain but if you want to skip metal braces it's worth the hassle, they do work, very slow, but they work.
