I chipped a couple of my teeth pretty badly during a soccer game a couple of months ago, and knew I had to get it fixed. Because I previously had thought about fixing my discolored teeth, I figured dental bonding would be a nice way to address both issues at once.
For my procedure, Dr. Matthew applied some sort of thin plastic material on the front of my teeth, before applying the bonding material. He then spent some time making sure the shape and color of the material looked right and natural.
I am now more confident, and feel way more comfortable when I smile. My teeth look fresh and clean now, and the outcome was better than I could have ever hoped for.
All in all, it was a quick and painless procedure, and I would not in a million years hesitate to do it again. But because the effects are long-lasting, I doubt I will have to return for this particular procedure any time soon :)

My rating:
I was new to the area at the time, and first saw Dr. Matthew because my friend recommended him. I wanted to fix my chipped teeth (soccer game) and discoloration, and I was told Dr. Matthew was great with cosmetic dentistry. I was new to the area at the time, and was not sure who to turn to. My friend (Kenzo) recommended a south bay dentist who specialized in cosmetic dentistry. According to Kenzo, Dr. Matthew was the best dentist in the area, and one he had used for years. I took his word for it, and decided to schedule a visit. While I have never experienced dental bonding before, I felt like Dr. Matthew and his staff at South Bay Smiles paid excellent attention to detail, and provided excellent care:) I have visited many dentists over the years, but I can honestly say that Dr. Matthew is one of the best dentists I have ever come across.
It is wonderful to hear that you are loving the way your bonding came out!
Do your teeth feel any different when you eat, or do they feel just fine?
