I have had botox injections regularly, with the same doctor, for the past 2 years. I get small doses in my brow and forehead since I am still a young 36 year old. The results are always favorable and I sometimes wonder why I didn't start doing it earlier. I do get mild, annoying headaches after each treatment, but they go away within 3-4 hrs and never require medication. The results generally seem to take full affect in about a week and last for about 3 months (I think some people get longer lasting results but my doses are pretty low and my doc suggests not going too high to prevent the Spock effect). After, there are tiny little stick marks from the needle but they disappear by the next morning.
A side note, my doctor is an expert! I read some other very bad botox reviews and I honestly wondered how much of it was doctor related. Just make sure to do some research and find a physician that is the right fit for you.
Pros: I look younger with smoother skin/less wrinkles. It's quick and relatively painless. It's not a huge expense.
Cons: I have to return every 3 months for another dose.
