30 Year Old Breast Reduction Surgery - Los Alamitos, CA

I was so tired of my heavy and saggy boobs. They actually made me depressed. It was difficult for me to exercise due to the weight of my boobs. I had constant skin irritation under the folds of my breast as well as grooves in my shoulders causing me shoulder pain. I had breast reduction surgery 08/11/14 and boy am I glad I did it. I waited three years to finally have the surgery. I wait this long because of course I did try other methods such as weight loss hoping some of the weight I lost would come from my boob area but not so much. Being that I got a new insurance plan beginning of this year I decided to go ahead with the procedure. I was a bit nervous about using my insurance because I've read so many reviews about insurances denying coverage and making you basically jump through hoops to get covered. Thankfully, that was not the case with me. I consulted with my surgeon Dr. Farbod Esmailian of Los Alamitos, CA and within 2 or 3 weeks I got a response from my insurance company saying I was approved for surgery. All I remember from the surgery day is the check in time, me joking around with my anesthesiologist, being rolled into the operating room, and next thing waking up in a ton of pain. The pain didn't last that long of course because of the meds. I'd say in about 4 days time the pain started to decrease more to feeling sore. After two weeks I started to adjust back to normal. I now love my new perky boobs. I can't wait to go shopping for a new bra which will be some time in October after my doctor says I can transition back to wearing a regular bra.
