As I understand it, Vaser makes 2 claims.
1: It removes excess fat via a minimally invasive procedure.
2. It sculpts & shapes.
From my experience, this is somewhat misleading. I've been on the thin side of average all my life but with a flabby stomach so I thought this would be the perfect procedure for me. I had it done in London in 2009 & ended up several pounds lighter but with embarrassingly droopy skin. Now living in the US & going to have an abdominoplasty next month to fix the problem. My US plastic surgeon said that it was well known that Vaser did NOT tighten skin when removing excess fat & that people tended to end up with saggy skin like mine. With hindsight I would have just had an abdominoplasty in the first place - or lived with my stomach.
I'm sure that some people achieve better cosmetic outcomes than I did, but I would advise anyone to think carefully before going ahead.
