Third treatment with Picoway

It's been 2 years since my 2 picosure treatments and I've found the longer I wait between treatments, the more the ink fades. Yesterday I went for my third treatment, this time with picoway instead of picosure.
I clingfilmed with emla this time too so it was bearable and very quick as there is so little left of the original tattoo. I am so pleased once again with the results. I would never have imagined they would be this good. Time will tell whether inmay need one more treatment.

I had a spur of the moment tattoo done about 15 years ago (literally walked into the place and picked a design off the wall - doh!) Well needless to say I have absolutely hated it for years!
Luckily it's one upper back so I can't see it unless I try.
So now I'm 36 and have a little girl and this horrid tattoo just doesn't fit in my life.
About 3 years ago I decided to have it lasered off. I went to the Pulse Light Clinic in London as they had a special offer going at the time. It's was the old Q Switch laser and to be honest 1 treatment didn't make any difference at all. I planned to go back but the fact that it would be at least 10 to 12 treatments and even that didn't guarantee removal wasn't exactly a motivating factor for me to rush back ... So it ended up on the back burner.
A few months ago I got an email from pulse light clinic to say that they had a new picosure laser. I googled it and was instantly sold as it says it takes half the time of the old laser and is far more effective. I went for my first appointment at the beginning of May 2015.
I'm not going to lie it hurt like nothing I've felt before. I had to stop her a few times during the treatment! However the treatment is very quick. Thank goodness!!
It was very red and sore for a couple of days but no blistering at all. I kept the bandage on for 24 hours, then used Vaseline once a day and after a week I massaged bio oil in twice a day. It got quite itchy but not too bad and was absolutely fine after 2 weeks.
I have been really careful in the sun and always put factor 50 on it now that it's summer.
So today I braved my second treatment. Was looking forward to it but also a bit terrified of the pain!
At the suggestion of the therapist I applied EMLA cream 2 hours before and wrapped it in clingfilm. Boy did this make a massive difference!!! It was still pretty uncomfortable but bearable so I would definitely recommend EMLA to anyone who is considering laser!
I put some frozen peas on my back for about half an hour after I got home and now, about 12 hours after treatment, it actually feels fine. It's very red but I can see how much the ink has broken up again.
Two treatment in and so far so good! Definitely worth it.
Next treatment will probably be late September .. Really looking forward to zapping this ugly thing off my body!!
Thanks to all the people who have out reviews up here! I have been reading them all it's really inspiring!

The clinic is nice and clean, therapist is lovely and she has done an amazing job so far. Only negative comment I would make is that they had a sign at the desk on my first visit which offered a discount for giving a review which I think is wrong and then you end up with dishonest reviews (I did my take up that offer!)
