Although hardly anyone ever noticed, I hated my nose from a young age and at 21 I saved up to get it done. My nose pre op was smallish, has a little bump and the tip was a little lower than perfection which made it look quite long. My nose was pretty much the perfect nose for a surgeon who specialises in rhinoplasty.

I am a really happy person but these last few weeks have been very difficult for me and I am quite looks obsessed. There have been so many changes and although Im happyish I wont be able to view the finished look until a year. I just want my mind at rest and know that everything is how it should be and I will achieve a great looking nose.

Hiya, I had rhinoplasty performed just over three weeks ago. I had it done to remove a small hump and to lift the tip slightly. When the cast was first taken off I wasnt sure, but now the swelling has gone down significantly and I am relatively happy. My only problem now is with the tip. My nose is quite long as it is and very narrow. The tip looks like a ball at the bottom of my nose and although I know it is swollen, my concern is that it is quite defined already and if the swelling subsides will my nose look like one big U shape and two small u's either side instead of a smooth rounded tip?

I'm intrigued to know if this is the same surgeon i have had a consultation with? There are so many to choose from and i thought that going to a specialist in rhinoplasty was the most sensible option. Was it j-r-j?
