“Breasts Sit Too Low After Augmentation”

I had implants put in...was told I didn't need a lift (although I did) and I had same issue as you where the implants felt too wide inside my body for my frame....I decided to explant but that was my own personal choice....I wish u luck!

I had a lift and 450 gel implants, they sit low as well. I asked the PS what kind of implants because they sit low, he said (I'm sorry I cannot remember, moderate something gel) but he said it depends on how the persons breast are determines the way the implant sits. I don't really believe that but I too cannot afford to take them out to get bigger ones to hopefully sit higher. Hope your pain lessens soon and you are happy with your new implants.

if you got silicone gel, they tend to sit lower than saline to give a more natural look. i had a breast lift and augmentation and my ps suggested i get saline so they dont drop as much altough silicone is more expensive my PS was honest about it and im very happyh with my results. i think you should get a second opinion you might be able to correct the problem.

You went from basically no boobs to big boobs-they are going to be heavy-thats how big boobs are. They look wonderful and natural and really are not that low-you are just used to having little ones. Go to a fancy bra place and get fitted for the right type of bra-you certainly can be fit for a bra to hold them up. Hard to say if they are wide from a side only view.

I think you look AMAZING. Your breasts have a natural hang to them like real, big breasts should. You are indeed lucky you don't have implants that ride so high they are almost at your collarbone!

i want silicone implants but it looks like they hang low and i think mines already low enough but i hate the scars that doing a lift place on the breast though

Claire123, I think your results are brilliant! If you had a valid quibble, I would said that you could have likely gone with moderate profile implants. But seriously, they look great. If you're having difficulty finding a good bra, let me know and I'll dig up some names. The pain concerns me though; what sort of pain? Chest pain? Back/shoulder pain? I'm trying to understand whether the pain is directly related to the surgery or whether it has more to do with the weight of your breasts, your posture and the fit of the bra. Please don't start slouching, as that will only aggravate things. To chelle757, the shape and the fullness of the breasts pre-op as well as the shape of the ribcage do influence the final result. To sarahg09, yes, as a standard rule-of-thumb silicone implants do tend to create a more natural result, but if you clearly stipulate to your surgeon that you are after the fake look, he should be able to accommodate your goals at least to some degree. Obviously a silicone implant will never be able to achieve that overfilled-by-50%-look that can be achieved with saline implants, but the shape and the position of the implant pocket (as well as attributes of the implant itself) will have some influence over the final result. It's all about providing bespoke services. To wyle123, check with your surgeon (and get 2-3 other surgical opinions if you like) as it might be possible to get away without doing a lift. That said, the lift scars do tend to fade quite nicely, although you should check with your surgeon regarding your specific case. That said, there are some great options after the healing is complete to help the scars become even less visible, such as laser treatments or injections right into the scars (depending on the type of scar) and/or micropigmentation, which is essentially tattooing with a goal towards hiding the scar and making it blend in with the surrounding skin colours. There may be other options available as well, so don't count yourself out yet. :)

I think they look great too! They drop so naturally which is great look if your looking for the natural side. Also its the same shape as your natural breast except bigger, and your naturals sit low to your chest too. I think you should post a front side picture. Who is your doctor he did a great job

i think your breast looks great it just that it much bigger with the implant, but to me they sits at the same height as before but they look natural

i agree...they appear natural and when they are too high it gives it away that you had them done

I don't normally like the natural look at all, but I think your breast look amazing. Just beautiful. There is a new movie called "The gift" directed by Billy Bob Thorton, Tom Cruise's wife Katie Holmes is shown topless at the end of the movie and your breasts look just like hers. she has wonderful natural breasts.

claire123, it just dawned on me: If your bra straps are digging into your shoulders, then the bandeau may not be doing its job. Meaning, see if getting a bra with a smaller bandeau will help provide better support from below. The best analogy I've heard for this is like keeping books on a bookshelf, rather than hanging them on the wall using strings. So a smaller bandeau (possibly wider) in combination with larger cups. Give that a try if you haven't already.
