I had pretty bad crowding and was told my aunt that I would have to have braces and wasnt a candidate for invisalign. Im 21, so I didnt want to wear braces, and didnt listen to her advice.
I found a premier invisalign cosmetic dentist - 11 months later, my teeth are beautiful - better than my sister's, who had better teeth than me to begin with, and needed braces for 3 years.
My dentist allowed me to drink whatever I would like with them in - including coffee, alcohol, juice etc. (never any problems doing this - no cavities)
Virtually painfree, and nobody knew I ever had them on unless I told them. The only problem I ever encountered with them is bad breath occasionally and chapped lips - buy some good lip chap and make sure to brush and floss your teeth after eating and clean your aligners.
I also used them as whitening trays. I would advise them to anyone, and have no idea why people would go with braces - make sure to wear them 22 hours/day though!
