Upper Bleph and Laser Resurfacing - London, Ontario

It has been quite the experience. Mostly positive. I am very excited for I have wanted to do this for years. I finally took the plunge and so far so good. I had it done under local so I did not have to deal with the "recovery" of going under. I actually have eyelids right now albiet it that they are very red and swollen. My stitches come out on day 7. I will post as we go.

Update day 7

Stitches were removed yesterday. Today was the first time I am wondering if I made a mistake. The incisions seem big and my eye area is quite red. I can't help but wonder if these scars will fade enough that u can't see them. I hope so. The. Laser resurfacing is healing well although the line around my fun is still raw in spots. I will post pics later. I had a day of travel to head home today. I iced my eyes the entire trip hoping that would help. Any tips to get rid of the redness, and bruises?

As time goes on...

It is now Day 11. It appeared that I got a bit of an infection on my right eye lid within the past 2 days. It has added to the swelling and redness. I just keep poppin my antibiotics. I had been worried about the depth, length, and redness, wondering if they will ever fade. Well, guess what? The scars are changing. The left eye was deeper but it is filling in a bit. Amazing!! They are getting better but are still noticible. I am starting to get excited again. Pics coming soon I promise.
