Still swollen but feeling good
Two weeks post op now but still got dressings on my incisions. My nurse, Sarah, veers on the side of caution which I appreciate. I have another appointment with her tomorrow so hopefully will get my dressings off tomorrow. I have to say the after care is amazing; I haven't been left adrift as I expected to be. I've seen Sarah every four days or so and every time she asks me, 'Are you eating your protein?' 'You know you can't lift anything?' 'No pulling or pushing!' I've also been given instructions to keep walking around but not too much. How do you know how much is too much?
I took a quick picture this morning, still very swollen and scabby but I think some progress has been made. I'm also loving my boobies, they're not too big. I was scared that they would be massive. I might not even need to buy new bras. Though I should fill out my bras now, not just the bottom half.
If I get my dressings off tomorrow I will post some new pics so we can all have a look at my nipples and belly button!

Yay, no more drains!
I went for my first post operative check today, and got my drains out! Thank heavens, I feel a little more human again now. I actually walked to the shop and didn't feel like everyone was looking at me. Even though I am still a little hunched over.
I'm still feeling lucky not to be in any pain. Still very swollen but I am diligently taking my arnica and wearing my garments. Managed to take a pic between switching garments. Not bad, I'll know more once the swelling's settled and I get the strapping taken off the girls.

Ugh, drains staying put til Monday
Finally going home, feels like I've been here for ages. Looking forward to getting back home. But I have to keep my abdominal drains in until next week because my right side is still draining. These drains are huge though! Quite annoying lugging these blood jars around. Ah well I guess the Halloween costume is sorted.
Provider Review
I really like Mr. frati, he didn't seem like he was in a rush to get our consultation with and he answered all my questions. Also I have looked around at other women's experiences of his work and they all seem positive. So I'm very optimistic about the results.
