Im a guy who got cheek implants put In in several years ago I was 21 at the time and initially I thought I looked fine in the mirror I even had people I'd meet in bars say I looked like a male model. They did look good when I had a 'neutral ' facial expression , but on the flipside they looked/look terrible from certain angles, you can tell there's something there. As I've gained a bit more bodyfat I look extremely fat and bloated. They will also stop you from smiling , thsts the worst part , you will look like the joker, you won't smile again with your teeth showing once you get them in because your top teeth won't show when you smile which will make you extremely self conscious , I still don't smile anymore. You will find it extremely uncomfortable sleeping on your side . I only sleep on my back now which I find very uncomfortable , I used tonsleep on my side but one of the implants shifted. My results were pretty much 'perfect' when I had surgery , like i said they looked very good with a neutral expression when looking in the mirror straight on, but that's it and that was only during the first few years , from the side I look like I'm made from plastic, and I've seemed to age very fast. They can also shift like one of mine has so now one cheekbone seems a lot higher than the other . I've considered removing them but that could leave me with permanent damage so I'm on the fence over what to do. I'm surprised they still offer this surgery , What I've gone through psychologically is inevitable , this surgery can't work and doesnt work so please do yourself a favour and do not get these put in
