2 Weeks Post Op

I'm now 2weeks since surgery. Overall feel great, finally got the "going to the bathroom" challenges out of the way. That was horrible. Still very tender and sore feeling but imagine that is normal and will take time. Also still swollen under arms and it's driving me crazy. Stitches should come out tomorrow. Still not a fan of sports bras! :(

Day 2 of post op

Well after going thru 4 doctor consults I found one I like and it was the last doctor I met with that did my BR on Monday August 10. He removed 650cc's from each breast. I wore a 36DDD Body by Victoria brand bra so I'll be curious to see size I wear when it's time, for now just the sports bras that I never wore or could find one that didn't give you the 3rd boob are all that is allowed.
Surgery was held at St. Joseph Mercy outpatient in Ann Arbor, MI. Hospital staff, the residents and Dr. Sherick were all wonderful! No big delays, was in recovery for about an hour and a half. Had trouble keeping water and graham crackers down during recovery and after I got home but did much better later in evening. No drainage tubes and came home same day. Taking Narco and stool softener. Pain med is making me itch. Took a quick shower to feel fresh on day 1 of post op.
So far I have no regrets. It will be a little challenging learning how to look at the new size and remember what I had. Already feel the relief in shoulders and neck. Reading posts on this site from other women has been awesome, had great support from two women in my life who had the same thing but most importantly my husband is an angel!!!
Will post pictures later.

Turning 46 next month. I wear two brands of bras,...

Turning 46 next month. I wear two brands of bras, 38DD from Soma and a 36DDD from Victoria Secrets. They both seem to fit well and I like the coverage, lift and support they both provide however that only lasts 3 months and then it's off to buy a new one. I have the indents in my shoulders, shoulder pain, neck and in between the shoulder blade pain. I saw one doctor last week and he indicated my insurance would require 550cc's be removed from each breast and felt I would turn out too small for body size. Went to 2nd consult yesterday and she said same amount of cc's but felt I would not be that small. Now, I'm going to find a 3rd doctor. Looking for opinions on this to share. Will post pic later.
