I had been trying Botox since I was 35, but after 44 that is no longer enough to look refreshed. I always had a full face and as we know aging isn't friendly for the cheekbones. I have been reluctant to mess with my cheeks for fear of looking like the Lion Woman or anyone you see on Housewives shows. After reading the reviews here and before starting a new job, I decided to go for it and scheduled a procedure for Voluma for the cheek are with Dr Mesa. My initial impression was - friendly staff, nice office! Great. So far so good. What really impressed me was the care they provided. The staff saw my nervousness and really worked with me to make sure I was comfortable and spent a great deal of time with me. Very impressive! Once I got home, I examined my results and felt unsure. I didn't look like myself. Two days after the procedure, I was ready to get the procedure reversed - this was not my face! I emailed Christina and she asked me to give it 2 weeks for the swelling to subside and results to settle in. She was right on point! By end of 1st week, I was loving my results and a month later, I love it and actually want to do more.
Dr Mesa is meticulous and has a great eye for making you look great. My results are even and I didn't have any bruising.
He also fixed my uneven botox that was done by another doctor.
