“Lip fat transfer was not worth it”
Fat transfer: NOT worth it
Cost: $1,000
Pain: Uncomfortable
Pain: Uncomfortable
Fat transfer satisfaction: Fair
I chose a fat transfer because it was said to be a long lasting filler compared to Hylaraunic acid and My doctor's technique FAMI - is supposed to last longer.
The doctor took the fats from my belly and then transferred it to my lips. It looked so nice on the first week but after a month it completely vanished. The before and after looks the same.
I had my touch up after a month. it looked great again and then again it looks like my body absorbs the fat so quickly. I'll probably get anoother touch up after 3 months.
I'm thinking I should have chosen lip implants instead. This might have given me permanent plump lips. The process of fat transfer isnt that easy.

I had it done and some stayed permanently. Supposed have about 30% remain forever. Your surgeon may not have been spinning the fat after it sucked it out. Gotta spin it to take the dead fat out and inject just live fat.
