Worth It
Spent: $5,800 in boston,mass

I had the procedure on July 5th,2008.The procedure lasted an hour and a half with local anesthesia.Once my face got numb,I didn't feel anything.I was awake for most of it but in a detached way.One tip-fill the pain meds sooner rather than later.I had a 2 hour trip home and what I was given had worn off by the time I arrived home.I am still trying to decide what hurt more, giving birth or this!At any rate once I was medicated it wasn't so bad.The video that they show you about the patient who went to the mall the next day was totally un-realistic.Maybe she did,but there was no way I was going anywhere for at least a week.My job is very physical but I was able to return to work after 2 weeks, with restrictions that are self-imposed.I keep looking at the photos in the brochures and can see that most patients still have some wrinkles and basically the same shape to their face but with a natural improvement. My Dr.was very nice and took as much time as he needed and told me so.He said that some patients wanted it done quickly but that he would always do what was needed. No rushing.I ended up with a hematoma also, had it drained and now it is going away. This saturday is week three. If I look like I do now for the next few years I will be very happy. If after a year, everything goes back to before,I will not be happy at all.I never expected to look like Cher afterward.I will check back with you all in a few months to give an update.I still have one more appointment next month. Will tell how it goes.So far,it has been worthit, but time will tell!

Hi, I am just beginning my research and glad to have found this site. I live in plymouth ma. and I am considering a doctor in Waltham Ma. Dr. Fechner was with the Lifestyle lift center in Waltham but has left and is now doing this lift under his private practice and under the licenced name of Finesse Lift He is board certified and I am in the process of checking his credentials and if he has had any malpractice suits.Has anyone used this Dr. either with Lifestyle or in his own practce. Thanks. Any help is appreciated.

Be sure to check long and hard. Think about it... One hour to accomplish what other doctors take 3, 4 or even 5 hours to accomplish. Do yourself a favor and get a 2nd opinion. It could not hurt and may even help you make your decision. I have seen other postings that list Dr. Fechner as the attending. Look at the Plymouth discussion board, you may find more info there. Best, Chrystal.
