I had the LSL done in San Diego Jan 07. Never did I expect to have over 50 shots in my face. The pill they gave me to relax me did nothing, but I made it through the 2 hours of slicing and dicing. The pain the first 2 nights was unbearable, even with the pain meds. I just kept reminding myself that things would get better, but they haven't. My ears look like they were actually cut off and put back on in a different place. There are giant lumps in the front and back and I have constant itching and weird pains. Under my chin is also itchy and lumpy, even after the months of massaging that they instructed me to do. At first it actually looked like my neck wasn't drooping anymore, but it seems to look worse daily. A relative noticed the dimpled look on the one side of my neck. I am very self conscious of my profile and more depressed than ever. I am going to a real plastic surgeon in 2 weeks for an opinion. The thought of another surgery terrifies me, but I really feel I have no choice. I would never recommend this procedure to anyone. I sure wish I would have seen this website and done a better job of checking into this, but I got caught up in the beautiful before and afters on the LSL infomercial. I would like to meet those people in person. Maybe they had a competent Dr. Oh well, I guess we live and learn, but what a price to pay with a deformed face.

I am so sorry about your experience with Lifestle Lift. I had an appointment a few days ago for a consultation. My procedure was going to be $4800. They told me it was going to be a $400 deposit and if I got it done within the next 60 days they would take $1500 off and it would be $3300. The reason I decided against it was because I was going to be awake during the whole procedure and i was afraid to do that. They said I needed lipo under my chin, and laser resurfacing all over my face. I have had lipo before, and I damn sure didn't want to be awake during that procedure nor did I want to be awake while they burned my face off. I have had plastic surgeries before and was under general aenethesia every time. I have a brain disorder and I can be very nervous and anxious so when they refused to put me out I was to afraid to do it. Another reason I decided not to go through with it was because I wasn't given an opportunity to meet the doctor that was going to perform the surgery. When I asked to meet with him, they acted like I was out of my mind. They said I'd meet with him on the day of surgery. Well I didn't like that idea so I opted out. I think you are very brave to do that awake and all. I hope you find a good surgeon to fix everything so you feel good about yourself again. Thank-you so much for posting your story on the enternet because it made me feel better in knowing I made the right decision. Your story was very supportive. I was told by LSL staff. I was immature and a big baby.
