Satisfied & Back to Work - Lexington, KY

I am currently a 36 B, my goal is to be a full C, and get rid of these thick padded bras. I've been thinking about this for a while. My surgery is in two weeks, I'm a little nervous and excited. My doc says he thinks that 300cc will probably put me at a full C. I hope thats correct, because I def don't want any smaller. Not looking forward to the pain. My doc also offered the unit called Sofpulse. Anyone heard of it or used it?

I am 5 days post op now and I am doing pretty good, except for this terrible chest cold I have taken just two days after surgery. I am still a litle sore but think most of it is from coughing. I go back for my 2nd post op visit tomorrow. Will try to update more then and maybe get some pics uploaded.

Ok ladies this morning starting to feel a little depressed. I've been reading some of your post and it sounds like I have a long road of recovery and therapy ahead of me. I'm already so tired of being sore and so limited on getting back to my normal routine and it sounds like it's going to be a long while. I just want to cry for putting myself through this and maybe not even being that big of difference. I almost wish I hadn't done this to myself.

Great review?

Thanks for starting your story on RealSelf! Here's what some doctors say about Sofpulse vs. a pain pump.

I hope you'll keep us updated on your journey! Will you be posting before and after photos?

My doctor also offered a pain pump, but really doesn't feel like it is necessary with BA (much more helpful with other types of PS). I didn't get it and did pretty good on the pain meds and muscle relaxers. I took them for about 4 days and was so ready to get off of them. I'm just taking an occasional Tylenol now and I will be 1 week post op tomorrow. Everyone is different, so there may be some ladies that recommend it.

Thanks Readhead1. I may go ahead and get the sofpulse, hoping it will help so I can get back to work sooner. Hope everything went well with your BA. I go in Tues. for my pre op visit.

Redhead1 I just finished reading all of your post and I really appreciate it. Yours sounds a little like mine. I plan on saline also. At my pre op in a couple of days want to make sure the doc and I are on the same page also. Think my husband is a little more worried about the outcome than I am. Again thank so much for sharing.

Well tomorrow is the big day. By this time tomorrow I should be home resting. Getting excited and very nervous.
