I have always had a problem with a bump in my nose that annoys me, and I feel as if I'm ready to get rid of it. My surgery is schedualed to be done on August 10 and I am 15 years old. However, I turn 16 on August 12, 2 days after my surgery. Should I wait? or am I ready for it.

Hi there,
It's very wise of you to consider whether you're ready or not, which says a lot about your maturity level at 15. This should work in your favor. Some doctors say that waiting until 16 is smart because your nose is more likely to have stopped growing by that age. I think it depends on each individual and what your doctor says.
