Dr. Bitner worked wonders for me, and I would recommend him to anyone! I struggled for over 15 years with sinus and nose issues from an accident. I had more sinus surgeries that I can count, and had 3 reconstructive rhinoplasties. The scar tissue continued to return in my sinuses, and the last attempt at a reconstructive rhinoplasty went horribly wrong and left me disfigured. I consulted with two other nationally renowned plastic surgeons (in Chicago and Kansas City). One said there was “nothing left to work with,” the other quoted an outrageous price (and would not even consider working with insurance) and said that even with the price there were no promises. I went to an ENT about the sinus issue, and he referred me to Dr. Bitner for one last attempt at reconstructive rhinoplasty. From the start, Dr. Bitner was very matter-of-fact, but kind when discussing my injury and the ensuing 15-year medical struggle. I would recommend Dr. Bitner based on three things: he is the best surgeon I’ve ever worked with, he followed up and ensured I was completely healed, and he worked closely with insurance when appropriate. He is an honest man who would never “upsell” or suggest unnecessary work. After years of struggling with medical issues, Dr. Bitner was the only doctor who was able to deal with my complex injury.
