Happy with 5 Daughters, Never Thought of Plastic Surgery Until.... - Layton, UT

My husband told me last Oct. that he made an appt. for a free mommy makeover consultation. I told him he was insane, that I would never have plastic surgery. He told me I never do anything for myself and I deserve it. I thought I was 100% against it. To get my husband to stop bothering me, I told him I would go to the free consultation, but that was it! My husband had researched surgeons in Utah and said Dr. York Yates had such high reviews. He said most plastic surgeons had at least a few negative comments, but he couldn't find anything negative about Dr. Yates. I hadn't thought about it much until my consultation appt. When I went in his office, the secretary and nurse were very nice. I was told to get naked and put on a robe. I was still thinking I'm wasting everybody's time because I am not having any type of surgery . When Dr Yates came in I about freaked out, he is gorgeous!! I did not want to show him my saggy body. The longer he talked to my husband and I, the more comfortable I felt. He did not act like he was in a hurry, like most doctors. I know he could sense how uncomfortable I was and he did a great job at helping me relax some. When we left his office I told my husband , I want a mommy makeover and for sure from Dr Yates! Well I had my surgery June 30th. I had a full tummy tuck, a reduction and lift on one of my boobs, and then implants 440 cc to make them the same size. A week before my surgery, Dr Yates was concerned that I might be in too much pain after my surgery because I cannot take narcotics. He suggested canceling my surgery because he was worried about my pain levels. I assured him I can handle "3 days of hellish pain " . He was still concerned but trusted my word. Dr York Yates is amazing, caring and is like an artist . I trusted him 100%. I highly recommend him to anybody especially people like me who never thought in a million years I would have plastic surgery. I felt selfish at first spending all that money on me, but now I can show my 5 daughters by example that moms need to take care of themselves.
