I'll start off by saying that Dr. B is a very nice and well-mannered guy. However, I had otoplasty performed, hoping to correct my protruding ears, and now, after the procedure, my ears now have a "telephone" look, in which the middle portion is pinned, but the top and bottom portions are still stuck out.

It has only been 3 days post-op, but from what I read online, most who receive this look immediately post-op, will have it stick with them for the most part. If this improves over the next few weeks, I will revise this post.

Was it an improvement? Maybe. I am not very excited by the results though.

UPDATE: Ears are much better. 2 weeks after my otoplasty, Dr. B was correct in that the "C" look my ears had right after surgery, are not as dramatic as they once were, now that they are taking permanent form. I am pleased with the results.

Sorry for the late response, ears folded back perfectly a few weeks after surgery, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Couldn't be happier! Thank you all for your responses, this is a great website!

Ears healed up perfectly after a couple weeks and folded back normally. I'll admit I was a bit worried at first (I assume that's normal though), but am now extremely pleased with the results!

Thanks for writing a review and sharing your experience. I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with your results. It's still pretty early so your ears might improve. Does your doctor know that you're disappointed? Definitely keep him in the loop so, if needed, you can talk about revision when the time comes.
