“Patients with Sensitive Eyes BEWARE!”

My lashes are short and blonde, so I was hoping for longer, darker lashes. I asked my doctor about Latisse and he gave me the prescription, cautioning me that about 1% of users will be allergic to it.
After about a week of use, I noticed that my eyes were noticeably reddened and irritated. Over the next 3 weeks, I had to see my optometrist 3 times for acute allergic reaction to Latisse. Like a dummy, I kept trying to use it despite the obvious problem it was causing! After a month, I finally gave up and quit using Latisse and within 3 days my horribly bloodshot eyes began to return to normal.
Despite the problems I had with Latisse, I did see significant lash growth. I wish I could have kept using it!
Moral of the story- if you have sensitive eyes, think twice before you try it!
