Lasik was worth it: Lasik rocks!

Got both eyes done in 2001 and still have great vision to this day.  I don't miss my glasses one bit!  I was the perfect candidate for the surgery and told myself if I wasn't 100% then I wouldn't get the surgery.  My pupils are average size, my corneas are an adequate thickness, have never had abnormally dry eyes or ANY chronic health condition like diabetes or high blood pressure.  The procedure was so fast.  By the next day, my vision was 20/15 and has now leveled off at 20/20.  For a few weeks after the procedure I did have very dry eyes but was told this was normal and would resolve, which it did.  I followed my surgeon's post-op instructions precisely.  I would have the procedure done again--no regrets!
