Had intralase over 2 weeks ago. Had pretty bad dry eyes for about a week and now it's settling. It's amazing I can see now. I just think $6400 for 15 mins procedure is pretty pricy and on top of it, I need to spend extra hundreds on the eye drops (these preservative free drops are over $10 a box and only covers for 2-3 days).
The only thing I'm concerned of is, when is it safe to rub my eyes after LASIK? I rubbed my right eye last night while I was half asleep!! I woke up straight away and panicked. I called the clinic this morning, was told if the corneal flap did move or wrinkle, I would experience blur vision. But my vision is fine, I think it's the same, hasn't changed. I am just very worried. My next check up is in 2 weeks. Hope I didn't cause any damage to the flap :(

Just had my 1st month check up. Everything is going fine. Cornea flap is healing very well and no complications according to the doctor. Dry eye was much improved frm 3 weeks ago too. I got told I could rub eyes gentally now but of cause it's never a good idea to rub eyes weither you had eye surgeries or not. I am certainly telling my friends about my experience and recommending the procedure!

Great review?

Thank you for sharing this....I had Lasik one week ago today and yesterday while at work accidentally started to rub my eye...I touched the eyelid and quickly panicked before fully rubbing...it is very scary...sometimes you forget that you had "surgery" because you cannot see the surgical site.

So glad to hear everything is going well!

I tend to rub my eyes, so reading your comment is a good reminder I need to curb that habit!

Wow, I can totally understand why you would be panicked about that. Did the office offer to have you in before your two week check to make sure everything was fine?
