Worth It
Spent: $998 in Houston, TX

I have been in glasses since a little girl. My eyesight was 20/400 in both eyes with one astigmatism. My pupils were juuuuuuust on the brim of needing the upper scale procedure to prevent haloing.

I trusted the dr when he said the halo would be minimal and it has been. The only side effect is I have to put one drop of eye drops in each eye first thing in the morning. A small price to pay for having my eyesight.

I love love loved my Dr. He was fun and cool and sang to me while doing the procedure. I felt no pain.

The drawback is (esp for a makeup wearing woman) is you can't rub your eyes for 6 weeks which meant I look pretty zombiefied for a while ;) I have even recommended a friend to this dr and he had his eyes done 2 years ago. I had mine done nearly 4 years ago and my husband... 14 years ago.

The cost was 998 per eye? And you paid this price 4 years ago?
