I had a lot of hair on my chin and the lower park...

I had a lot of hair on my chin and the lower park of my cheeks. It was like a beard and i used to wax it at home  twice every week. I could have shaved everyday to get a smooth skin daily, but the idea of shaving daily like a man is creepy isnt it? I was embarassed of taking care of my beard daily and specially embarassed of letting any man know that i have a beard too. Laser was the only option for me. I had no choice but to go for a permanent hair removal. Laser has solved that problem permanently now. The treatment hurts , it burns and the affected area becomes red for several days. It took me 5 treatments to get the hair totally gone. Later i will go again if and whn i see a few hair coming back. It is far better than waxing or shaving so i don't mind going once or twice each year. My chin and cheeks have smoothed out and it has been 6 months and i don't see a stubble , which is by far the best news i have heard or seen in years. I feel better now and am no more embarassed of either the way i look or shat i have to do to look good ( i dont wax or shave every morning).

My take:

Go for Laser!

It actually was not completely worth it. First, they lead you to believe that it is mildly painful. Wrong! It is very painful. Second, depending on the thickness of your hair, five treatments may not be enough which means it is going to cost you even more money. Third, you need to plan to take off a week or so if you are having hair removed from a visible part of your body such as your lip or anywhere on the face.
