“Laser genesis is clearing up my acne problems”
Laser Genesis: Worth it
Pain: Mild
I’m getting Laser Genesis Skin Therapy. I looked at tons of different options to fight acne attacks and maybe get rid of my acne scars and this was the best one in my price range. I’m having it done at a plastic surgery clinic on their non-surgery days. I go in for treatments on the first Tuesday of every month and I have five treatments scheduled.
I’m in the middle of my treatments (three done so far) and have seen a difference in my skin tone already. My acne scars and age spots are still there – that will come later – but my skin health has improved a lot since I started these treatments. My skin is smoother and my pores are smaller. This means I’m not breaking out as much because I used to get clogged pores all the time but now I don’t seem to, or not as much. I was SO acne-prone before... it’s unbelievable!
Very cool results so far because the procedure is very easy. I just lay there, they play music, and then it’s over. I have some redness after I get the treatments done but by dinnertime it’s gone.
I want to get the Titan done too. Haha, I love that name. It’s a laser that tightens your skin.
I think these types of procedures are great. They’re not very expensive, not like surgery, and they’re very easy to do. I hadn’t heard about any of these (Titan, Genesis, etc) until I booked in for a facial. The media doesn’t really cover them but they’re fantastic! I’m looking forward to finishing my treatments.

i'm glad it was working for you, could you write a post regarding the final result? did it help for acne scars?

I am wondering if the majority of these user reviews work for genesis laser? when you click on their name, it is the only review that they've written or else they include the pearl and titan somewhere in there. Are those part of the same company as well? just curious...

Laser Genesis only provided temporary facial like results for me. Immediately after getting one (I bought a package of 5 laser genesis - they ran about $300 each) my skin would look very smooth and nice. But like a good facial, it didn't seem to be any lasting effect. I was looking for improvements in skin smoothness and some mile acne scarring. I feel I was ripped off, as more research told me the laser genesis would not achieve these results. When you think about it, anything that just feels warm to your skin and is relaxing is not going very deep. Don't waste your money.

I'm so glad you like the Genesis! I'm a Medical Aesthetician & a Laser Technician, and I too struggle with Acne. A couple of months ago, my forehead broke out really bad (which is very out of character for my face) I tried a series of peels and very strong products but nothing was helping. I then used the Genesis Laser as well as the Blu U and noticed amazing results. I definatly recommend this treatment for anyone who struggles with acne and can not find relief, or hates the downtime of peels! I hope you enjoy the rest of your treatments! ps. I saw that someone was worried about these comments being spam, this is not spam I promise :)
