Post full TT w/ MR, lipo of flanks & bra pads on June 30!!!

I had my surgery on June 30, making it 10 days post-op today. I was brought in to the OR at 9am and out by 1145. They had a hard time waking me up from all the anesthesia. The nurse said I hold the longest record of coming off from anesthesia. I was finally awake by 1:30pm but had major dizziness. Everything was spinning around, which of course makes me so nauseous. I think I was finally released around 3pm. PS said i still had so much catecholamine so he ordered a liter of fluid bolus. Pain was tolerable, thank God for the Experal that I decided to pay for, it cost me additional $400 but it was totally worth it. I still took my Percocet round the clock, 2 tablets every 4 hours just to be sure for 2 days. I was up & moving from the day I got home. My tummy was numb from the Experal.
I slept on my bed the first night but i found it extremely difficult to get out of bed, so my couch w/ recliner was my bed for the next 4 nights. I went back to sleeping on my bed on pod #5.

I went to see my PS on pod #1, staff was impressed that I look great since I managed to even put some make-up on :)
As I posted to some RSelfers, my main issue was shortness of breath with minimal activity, i think it was from the MR. It was worse on pod 6-7, perhaps because the Experal has completely worn out. I was getting so frustrated that I was starting to regret having this done. My back was starting to hurt from being hunched over.
One of my drains was removed onTusday, pod #7. I'm hoping to have the other drain removed on Monday. So i was started back on antibiotic, no more shower for now until drain is out. My PS does not allow showers after 7 days drains are left in due to higher risk of infection. He did allow me to shower on pod #2 but decided not do it until pod #4. Hubby helped me, i wouldn't have been able to do it alone.

Fast forward: today is pod #10. The shorthness of breath is much better. Thanks to MNmom1, skubie, Canada54, ontheflatside, and lookinggoodforme for the words of encouragement. As expected, i have a lot of swelling from all the areas. Bruises are getting lighter. I have been using Arnica gel. I can't seem to tolerate the Arnica pellets. I don't know why. I have only been taking Tylenol 1000mg every 6 hours for pain. I am still using my abd binder 24 hours. The nurse said I can use CG which I have ordered but I find it impossible to put it on with JP drain still in. ????

Sorry for a long post. I have finally decided to share my journey.

I have been reading comments on TT. Now that I am...

I have been reading comments on TT. Now that I am done with school , I am so ready to have a TT done this summer. I came in for an initial consult with the first surgeon today & the second surgeon consultation is next week. I was quoted for $10,400 for full TT with lipo of the bra area & flanks. The price is after a 3k discount for being a nurse. I have 3 months off before starting a new job in August & I asked to get it done ASAP. The earliest they can give me is June 30, that is if I decide to go with him. Do you guys think this is such a rush decision to schedule it within a month? I don't want to wait any longer. I was hoping they can schedule me around the 2nd week of June, but it will only be possible if there is any cancelation. Thank you for your input!!!
