Birthday girl!

I can't believe I went from less than an A cup..to a 32DD/34D. I was confident before, and I definitely loved me, but now I guess I feel more womanly and shapely in clothing and that makes me feel fully sexy :) Coming up on 3 months soon and I'm happy with the results! Oh and the funky popping I wrote about a few weeks back is no longer happening so that's relieving. :) my birthday is Friday and im feeling great!

Week 7- push up bra

I bought two push up bras from target this week and love them. I don't wear them everyday because #1 it's underwire and not comfortable! And #2 I feel that my implants would heal weird or take on an unnatural shape. There has to be a reason why doctors all say to stay away from them until 6weeks or longer right? :)

I stopped doing massaging and movement techniques on my breasts bc they've definitely dropped and I don't think they should drop any more whatsoever. They already dropped more than I sort of wanted! But they're doing great and I'm even sleeping on my side more now. I will say that my left breast (the smaller one that hasn't dropped identically with the right) feels sometimes like it's pushing against my rib or sternum or something, and it happens when I either laugh or move my chest a certain way. I can't just make it happen, but when it does happen, it is like a small popping sound/feeling, like the implant is rubbing/gliding against something in the middle of my chest and then does it again once more when I goes back into normal position. So hard to explain right now but if anyone else has a similar experience please comment! Haha! It's actually gotten better. As in, it doesn't happen as often as it was about a week ago. I think since I was trying to massage that breast down to be even with the right, it just really wasn't trying to settle down further. And maybe I was even forcing it with the massages into an area that there just wast enough room for the implant. So it started hitting against something. I'll stop writing now since I'm about to start repeating myself LOL. Even if my left breast(500cc) is a little smaller (noticeable enough to me and my husband), we still loveeee them and he can't keep his hands or face away. Lol. Ok no more info :) I'd love comments and questions! Good luck to all who are in the first stages of going through this! Xoxo

Hmmm

Just thinking. Sort of wish I hadn't massaged so so much. They dropped as the doctor wanted, but now I don't have all that upper and high roundness. I guess they look lots more natural which is great, but I now have to wear a really supportive bra if I want push up and good cleavage. Oh well..

If I could go back to Dr Lane Smith, I would! I have had nothing but a positive experience with him. All my questions were answered. He is very detailed and thorough in what he goes over in the consultation. The nurse takes you in and you watch a very informative video on the iPad before the doctor comes in, and the iPad also has tons of before and afters of Dr Smiths, which are all excellent!!!!! I chose one that I absolutely loved, and that was one of the wish pics I showed Dr Smith (on my surgery day he also went and got the ipad and brought it into the room upon my request so I could remind him and show him that before and after again...very accommodating). Anyway! I had consultations with 3 doctors and after having the one with Dr Smith I was sure I wanted him. He does flatter you with words (youre beautiful etc) but I think this is his personality. He does it at every appointment. There is a very small military discount here. Not sure about any others. Payment process was smooth. The reason I did not give 5 stars for staff professionalism/courtesy and wait times: everyone at Lane Smiths office is kind, professional and sweet except for one female receptionist that I've spoken on the phone with a few times. Every time I've ever called the office, it was like she was trying to hurry the call up and also even make judgment calls for Dr Smith. For example, the day after my one week post op appt, I called about getting a prescription for more meds (I had intense pain after surgery- not sure if its jut my body or the size I went or what). Dr smith had already confirmed he would def write another prescription for me. When I called about it, the girl (I won't write her name) almost cut me off and told me why I didn't need more meds and told me to even cut the meds I did have in half! She is not the doctor or even A doctor. So this caused a little friction, clearly. So I asked to speak with someone else. And then sure enough, Dr Smith wrote the prescription and I picked it up. This is the only negative experience I've had with this office and I surely wouldn't use that as a factor in decision making. Dr Smith & everyone else there is amazing and make you feel very comfortable. Eve the waiting room is very clean and relaxed and the music makes you feel like you're at the spa! My husband falls asleep every time we are in there haha! The wait time: because Dr Smith is so busy, I have never been seen on time. However I think this is typical of most doctors' offices. The appts run behind. I know he can't really rush patients out. So be prepared to have patience, and wait for anywhere from 5-25 minutes past your appt time. Overall, I love my results and I'm very happy with DR smith and his experience and performance! I will recommend him. And I already have to a few friends! He told me has performed over 4,000 breast surgeries and I do not doubt it. He has many accolades and awards. You can google him and find these. He's has also been in Americas Guide to the Top Plastic Surgeons @ least 3 times. Awards are hanging in the office. 5 stars for Dr Smith!!!!
