Hello ladies,

I haven't posted in a few weeks because I didn't have anything new to report... My 1month post op came and gone. I'm still working on my scar maintenance (vitamin e oil, coconut oil and silicone strips) and I've notice the scars becoming softer and flatter. I still have the mondor's cord, under my right breast, and although it doesn't hurt it's still there. I also still have discomfort laying braless on my right side. See, nothing new to report.... Until today!

It's like I woke up today and my breast became super soft and bouncy! It's exciting! All the swelling has subsided and I was wondering if I should have gone bigger.... Nahhhh! They're perfect! I got the fullness I wanted and I still can fit most of my shirts, they just fit better!

Oh, I also resumed working out last week. With a high impact sports bra turbo kickboxing has been great! I just need to build back up my stamina! Oh, speaking of bras... I still haven't purchased any new bras yet! Is that weird?!?! I love my comfy post surgery bra! Lol weirdo!

Shout out to Realselfer PussicatEF and Happiness88 for checking on me and requesting I post an update! I've really been lucky to have had an easy recovery. Prayers to all the ladies who have share the complications they have been going through. I wish everyone speedy recovery.

Mondor's cord.....

I think I have one... I was stretching (braless) in my bed last night and I felt a pull... When I put my hand under my breast I felt what to me felt like a vein. I jumped up and went to look in the mirror and when I lift my arm up I can see a vein/cord going vertical from my breast crease towards my abdomen. I tried to take a picture of it but it doesn't show up well in the picture but I can feel it.

A quick google search confirmed my self diagnosis. Lucky it's self correcting and not harmful. It doesn't hurt and I can only feel
It when I'm messing around looking for it.

Supposedly it goes away with time and warm compress, massage and ibprofen helps if it starts to bother me. Right now it's very mild compared to pictures I've seen of others so I'll just let it be....

Best wishes to all for a smooth recovery! Laters

3 weeks post op

This week was uneventful compared to last week. Not really much has changed. I've been doing my scar treatment (Vitimin E oil and Scaraway silicone strips) and so far so good. I've also been consistent with laying prone (on my stomach/breast) on the floor for 15mins everyday.... With noticeable results, softer boobs. I can sleep on my side and stomach w no problems.

I had my 2nd follow up appt w my ps yesterday. She said I still need to drop some, but I can start wearing regular bras. She also said my scars looked good for this stage and after a couple of weeks the color will return to my right scar (it's very pink). At this point I'm not worried. They are flatten out pretty good after just a week of wearing the silicone strips.

I'm due to check back in w the ps in 2 months (unless I have any issues prior to then). I feel great, sleep fine, and almost 100% back to feeling normal. Every once in awhile I take a muscle relaxer bc of the tightness I feel in my pecs but no there's no pain. I was given the okay to workout (at whatever level is comfortable to me) but just doing jumping jacks is too much. Guess I'll start my search for a supportive sports bra!

Happy healing to you ladies!
Laters!
