In my case he explained what could be done and made it clear that he would make it look natural and would never over do the surgery. He politely answered all questions I had and made it very clear that there were no "dumb" questions as I had put it. His goal is for you to make an informed decision. I had the surgery in October of 2012 and the healing was quick and uneventful. The results are exactly what I'd hoped for. No one can tell I've had it done, it just looks like I've had a great vacation and that I'm rested up. Since I've had this procedure done I've visited Yes Medspa for facials, ultra shape (fabulous results..thanks Clare) and other procedures. I went to Dr. Mosher for a blepharoplasty (eye bag treatment) consultation last summer (2012) and was greeted warmly by the staff and then by Dr. Mosher. As a previous review stated I had read that he hasn't got great bedside manner and I found that not to be the case at all. He will decline to do surgery he doesn't feel is necessary or that he knows will not give you the results you desire but that has nothing to do with him having bad bedside manner...that's called honesty!
