Day 19
Post op appointment on Monday, December 29th went very well. Met with the nurse and had the tape taken off. What a relief to get that off...and so happy to see all the incisions. There was a bunch of dried blood under the tape so it was hard to see but the incisions are perfect, smooth and very faint already. I have to keep strips on the incisions until my next post op on February 6th but I get to replace those myself every 2-3 days so I get to keep a closer eye on the healing progress. Still doing my massages 5 x 5 a day. I was told that I could wear any bra I want, as long as it was comfortable and supportive.
So I bought two bras from VS and they measured me at 34DD! I also measured myself at home and found the same thing.
The only downside to all this fantastic news is that I developed Mondor's Cord under my right breast. Not a big deal but it does make bras a little uncomfortable. Warm compresses and ibuprofen until it goes away :)
As you can see from the photos, lefty is dropping nicely. Righty is being a little more stubborn but is making good progress.

Day 13
I took these pictures the day before the doctor took the tape off. No issues at this point. I love love love them!!
Day 2 - 6
So day 2 was pretty uneventful....just laied around the icing and staying on top of my meds. Day 3 I tried to go to shopping for an hour to pick up a few things and that completely wore me out. Still feeling a lot of pain and hard to move around too much. Day 4 I tried to listen to my body better and just laid around the house all day again. Day 5 (yesterday) I went to my first post-op and I got the ok to shower (YAY). Doctor said everything looks good and that I can take all the bandages off but have to leave the tape on my incision until my second post-op on the 29th. I have to wear a bra 24/7...either the surgical bra or a full support sports bra. So I have to live with the ugly tape on for 10 more days. Today I went grocery shopping with the family and for the first time, felt a little better moving around. I still got worn out after a couple hours but I felt normal at least. Everything still feels very high and tight but they are definitely getting softer. They gave me two massages to complete, 5 times a day until the next post-op appointment. I am really really happy with how everything looks. I know they will be gorgeous!!
