Lakeland Facial Plastic Surgeon

don't go with this guy, he doesn't deliver what he says he will. Stay way far away from this place, since i was new to this, he told me the size of my implants after i had the surgery done, this guy told me i would love it, but i now have no confidence in Him, and i hate what i see so far, when i go to his office to ask him questions, he tells me not to mess with his lively hood. im so frustrated with my results, He did to me what he wanted to, not what i told him i was looking for. does anyone know how big xl are. Thanks Ryan

After originally giving this MD a 5 star rating, I should have waited a few years to pass by before rating him. My face lift only lasted 2 yrs and I had to go back to TWO surgeries to correct problems he left me with. I agree with your comments. Unfortunately, I did my homework on cosmetic surgeons for two yrs prior to surgery, and even though this surgeon is double board certified, I don't think he has the experience to do facial cosmetic surgery. He got his experience doing cleft palate surgeries in Sri Lanka and on pediatric patients. I think this MD needs a LOT more experience in facial cosmetic surgical procedures.

Oops, i didn't look at the year. It's been a LONG time lol. How are you doing now?

Hi Steve. Now that it's almost Feb, how are you doing?

Do you think that the problem was just the size (too big) or also the position ?
have you had your implants removed ? I hope you're doing fine;

Even if the size was too big or the position was wrong, this surgeon should have KNOWN what he was doing. I just wish that surgeons would be HONEST with their patients. If the surgeon does not feel he can do a good surgical procedure TELL THE PATIENT instead of putting us through all this anguish and depression on horrible results.

the Dr who did the implant refuses to take them out, so i am having to find someone else, in Honolulu to do it, The original DR was Dr L in Lakeland Fla, i am so depressed, that i had to get a prescription for Valium, because this is very emotional for me, do u know if there is a minimum wait time to get them removed, i have an appointment on the 12th for consultation, the sooner i get these out the better life will be, i have never been so down in my life. Big mistake i made doing this. Thanks Ryan

I am SO SORRY for you. No patient should have to go through what you went through. Dr L should have TOLD YOU prior to taking you on as a patient that he was not experienced with cheek implants. I WISH these Dr's would be honest with their patients.

Hi Ryan -- I saw your update about removal. I'm really sorry this didn't work out for you. :( Are you going back to the same doctor for the removal surgery?

Sharon, Dr Lakhani refused to remove the cheek implants, so this patient had to go to another surgeon to get them removed.
