I had my first Pearl Laser done in June of 2007. I had it done for severe sun damage and acne scarring. I was thrilled with the results.
When the Fractional came out I couldn't wait for my provider to get it. I thought if Pearl could be so dramatic then Fractional was going to be amazing. I has that procudure in Dec 08'. I could not be happier. It took a little longer for the redness to subside, but the results are fantastic.
I think proper after care is emperative. Don't rush the healing process. I took the medication that I was supposed to prevent infection, I did my vinegar washes every 2 hours and wore my aquaphor religously till I was completely peeled. My Dr took great care of me and saw me regularly while I was healing. I have taken care of my "new skin" by using a uva/uvb block EVERYDAY and hydroquinone EVERY night.
I will absolutley do this treatment every 18 mths or so, so I can keep this beautiful new skin. DO IT !!!!
