Smart Lipo: Stories

Thought is was less invasive and quicker recovery but way expensive. I did not want to be put to sleep or have to stay overnight in a hospital. I did the procedure in April 2009 in preparation for a 4 week European tour I was taking that Fall with a good friend. Huge mistake financially and has left permanant disfigurement of my stomach. Have a rooster neck from the procedure being done on my neck that I did not have before. No difference at all in back fat or arms.

I weighed 120# am 5 ft 1 inch and I was turning 47 the year I did smart Lipo(2009). I had it done on my upper and lower abdomin, back fat and arms in one session and then my chin with a suture suspension on my face the next session two weeks later. I complained within days that the rippling of my stomach was getting worse.

They talked me into spending more money on a machine that would cause lymphatic drainage. I agreed and religiously went bi-weekly for 6 weeks. I am a RN so I knew the importance of aftercare ,I wore the provided binder, did the massages and used the rolling pin-none of which stopped the lumpy,bumpy texture my stomach never had before and now has.  I wore a two peice swimsuit  before the procedure and would not and have not worn one after.

Despite numerous complaints to my Doctor she failed to take my concerns serious and just kept telling me it would get better with time....."keep the binder on all day except to bathe." I finally took the damn Binder off and went to Europe but believe me I  did not participate in nude beach scene as I had intended to.
