The experience went relatively well, it was to remove excess skin & fat after a gastric bypass weight loss from three years prior. Concerned about this stitch issue.

My belly button has popped a stitch as confirmed by my surgeon, but she says it's no big deal and to use vinegar-soaked gauze in the opening. After several days of getting somewhat better, I used a piece of "mesalt" as recommended by a healthcare provider friend for one night; now, there is blood, and some white patches have increased in prominence, and the overall hole is larger and deeper. I have resumed the vinegar, but am worried about all the lost progress, and how will this heal with no further stitching, if the doctor is correct that it is "no big deal"?
Great review?

My Doctor: name not provided

conditional on the healing process proceeding expeditiously
