I am having my textured saline under-the-muscle...

I am having my textured saline under-the-muscle implants removed as they are much larger than I wanted them to be and seem to be shifting in a weird way in addition to general discomfort (especially when trying to sleep or exercise). I started out at a full B/small C cup and wanted to be a full D, but I am a DDD/E cup. I do not want a lift immediately as I have not yet had children and would like to wait until after I do so to see how my body changes before having one (and to avoid having two lifts, one before and one after having children), if I decide I need one at all.

My doctor is deflating them in her office before removing them three weeks later to see how my body responds to the size change and whether or not I absolutely need a lift immediately (I am not expecting to need one nor is my doctor for the reasons I listed above).

I met with two surgeons before finding my current doctor and they both insisted that I get a breast lift at the time of removal and one refused to operate until I lost weight, claiming that my large implants made me look "normal" and that I wouldn't be happy once they were removed. I am a size 8-10 and I completely disagree. My current doctor (Dr. Elizabeth Lee) made me feel comfortable immediately and removes implants regularly without performing lifts.

I am nervous to have the procedure done (surgeries can make anyone nervous) but I am excited to finally be getting them removed. I can't wait to be able to exercise and travel without worrying about my implants and to feel normal and comfortable again.

I have been wanting my implants removed (under-the-muscle, textured saline) for a few years and I met with two surgeons before finding Dr. Lee. I originally had them done in another state. I started out at a full B/small C cup and wanted to be a full D but I am a size DDD or E cup depending on the brand, and this size is uncomfortable and doesn't mesh well with my lifestyle. Both surgeons I met with insisted I needed a breast lift in addition to removing my implants, and one refused to operate until I lost weight, saying that as a "bigger girl" (I am a size 8-10) the implants made me look "normal" and removing them would leave me unhappy. I did not want a breast lift immediately as I have not yet had children and would like to wait until after I do so to see how my body changes before having a lift done, and to avoid needing to have two lifts (one before then another after having children), if I decide I need one at all. Dr. Lee made me feel comfortable immediately and is removing my implants without performing a lift and I am thrilled that I found her. She is a no-nonsense and honest surgeon who will not try to upsell you or suggest operations you may not want or need and truly cares about her patients.
