I had a breast augmentation surgery done by Dr....
I had a breast augmentation surgery done by Dr. Pousti about 3 months ago and I cannot recommend him enough! I was 23 when I had the procedure and went from a 34B to a 34DD. The following is a detailed, completely honest review of my experience.
I had been considering getting this procedure for about 4 years before I went in for a consultation. From the very first consultation Dr. Pousti made me feel very comfortable, has no problem answering any and all of your questions, and doesn't pressure you at all. He even asked if I was sure I wanted to do this because he said I really didn't need to, that I looked great as is! The staff there is amazing as well. All the girls are so helpful and easy to talk to. Since they've all pretty much had the same procedure they're great references if your unsure about any of the recovery time. I will say the one thing I did not like during my initial consultation was that I felt like I was waiting a very long time in between people coming in to talk to me. Now this could have been my imagination cuz I was a bit nervous and they're typically very busy (which is a good sign) so I didn't dwell on it for more than a few minutes. I left my first consultation confident that I would go with Dr. Pousti.
When I went in for my pre-op appointment, Dr. Pousti had me bring in goal photos. I printed out pictures of my ideal results, labeling them "perfect" "good size" "nice shape" "perfect side profile" and I also brought in dislikes, "too big" "too small" "too close together" "too far apart" "too fake looking." They went over the whole procedure and recovery process very thoroughly and I felt totally comfortable and excited for my procedure. I went home with my prescriptions and all the information I needed to know for my pre and post care.
The day of my procedure I was very nervous but Dr. Pousti and his team made me feel very relaxed and confortable. They let my boyfriend come back and wait with me till I went into surgery, answered any last minute questions, and went over my goal photos with me one more time. They also asked if I'd be more disappointed if they turned out too small or too large and Dr. Pousti said most women feel they didn't go big enough so I very timidly said I'd rather them be too big, but to make sure I didn't look ridiculous! Now let me say Dr. Pousti was totally right! I would have been very disappointed if they turned out any smaller so ladies don't be afraid of that question! They took me back into surgery, the anesthesiologist held my hand and next thing I know I'm waking up in the recovery room!
Dr. Pousti brought my boyfriend over, told me the surgery went excellent and I had a follow up appointment 4 days later. Recovery wasn't that bad at all. I took all the medication as directed and mostly you're just uncomfortable most of the time (especially if you typically sleep on your stomach - in which case I would start learning not to now). I didn't drive for about a week and a half but went back to work Monday after my surgery (which was a Thursday).
All my follow up appointments have been wonderful. They constantly make sure all your questions are answered, that everything is healing perfectly, and they give you flowers! I must say they do pressure you a bit to get on here and write a review but Dr. Pousti and everyone that works with him are amazing so I'm more than happy to take the time and write tho. My results look closer to my goal photos than I ever imagined and I couldn't have imagined a better, more positive experience than the one I had.
