had my gummy bear implants for three years until I began having weird symptoms. I am a 32 year old mother of four beautiful kids and am married to a wonderful husband. I am a victim of silicone cohesive gel breast implants by Mentor. I was implanted in March 2011, started feeling symptoms in January 2014. No one could find anything wrong with me. I was told I might be depressed or stressed and to go seek psychiatric help. Here are symptoms I suffered from that came little by little:InsomniaHeadaches/migrainesFatigueFrequent UrinationAcneneck, shoulders, back acheDizzinessWeaknessNight sweatsRestless leg syndrome Floaters in vision Tinnitus Slow healing cutsBurning sensation in chestSwollen glands under jawEye bagsEar achesAnxietyYawning all dayHeart palpitationsCanker soresHeart painDifficulty breathingHow scary is it to have absolutely no one be able to help you and figure out what's wrong? I tried to help myself. I sought numerous and expensive acupuncture treatments but to no avail. I detoxed from sucralose/aspartame and ate ridiculously clean. I visited a naturopathic doctor. Still no help and no change in symptoms. In June 2014 my darling husband alerted me that it could be my breast implants. I went to my original implanting surgeon. I asked him why am I sick?? Is this connected to my implants?? He and his nurse shook their heads no. They told me, "you're at the age of suffering thyroid problems, maybe you're stressed, the implants have been tested. They're fine." I believed them. I was also in denial because I didn't believe I had a rupture. I was told if they were ruptured that I would have a rash. I didn't have a rash. I was good, right? I believed that I could only get sick if I had ruptured implants.Symptoms stayed, and more started adding on. I decided to read more about breast implant illness. Was convinced that I was getting poisoned slowly. I found an experienced surgeon and had an en bloc explant in February 2015. He returned my implants(which were in tact, no rupture) and capsules to me directly after surgery. I smelt them and they wreaked of chemical fumes. I was very happy with my explanting surgeon's work so far and that he did not make me feel stupid when I told him I believed my implants were making me sick. He seemed to be one of the few surgeons that had a conscience and cared about my well being. I asked him if he could perform a breast lift on me at the same time - he said I didn't need it and to just focus on one thing at a time and to get better first. I really liked that answer. Now I'm recovering from my explant and looking forward to detoxing and healing. I sent my breast implants and capsules to Dr. Pierre Blais. I would love to help spread the word about this secret hush hush topic to help save us sick and dying women.
