I'm sixteen years old, and yesterday I had a breast reduction. I started at a 34DD and my wonderful surgeon brought me down to a B. Since I am only sixteen, I have school in a month! Making this huge decision so late in the summer, I needed to begin the surgery as soon as possible. I went in for a consultation on Wednesday, June 24, 2013 and requested for the surgery to take place within the next week, and in exactly a week, the surgery took place. Dr. Sadrian and his amazing staff made a pre opp appointment the next day, and made it work! I even knew that asking for the surgery the next week was a little unrealistic, but they made it possible.
It is the day after the surgery and of course I don't feel 100% normal, but I am in no pain whatsoever. Just a little bit uncomfortable which was expected. I'm tiny... I'm not even 5 foot and having such large breasts was a huge downside for my looks and my self esteem. I haven't removed my surgical bra yet, but my breasts look amazing so far! They're even swollen right now and they look great! My family friend came by to take care of me and hang out for a little while, and she said there's a difference, but nothing drastic. I already have so much more confidence. I can finally wear those cute Hollister bathing suits!
Dr. Sadrian and his staff are so amazing! I was able to meet with everyone there who had any part in my surgery. The anesthesiologist, the surgeon (of course), and all the other nurses! I asked a lot of questions as I was about to go under, and they were all able to answer them with complete confidence, which made me feel great. Just during the consultation I had a great feeling about the place. I highly recommend it! My cousin had the same procedure at a different plastic surgery office, and although her results were the ones she desired, the doctor was late, and didn't even show up once! In all honesty, I'm pretty high maintenance but I was never irritated or let down throughout this process. I have my post opp appointment in an hour and I can't wait to go to that office and see everyone! They give off the best vibe and they are all such perfectionist! Some details were the smallest ones that might not even cross your mind, but they make everything PERFECT. The nurses held my hand and talked me through the whole thing. They told me what to expect and assured me that I was in the hands of a professional.
Dr. Sadrian wants to start seeing me once a week for a few months, then 2-4 times a month until it's been a year since the surgery.
IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING A BREAST REDUCTION, I highly recommend Dr. Reza Sadrian at Scripps Memorial Hospital. You will be extremely satisfied. I cannot emphasize how great he is. Like I said previously, I am in barely any pain and I haven't taken my pain killer in 6 hours, when I'm supposed to take it every four. He is outstanding. I am in awe at how great this whole process was. You will not regret going to him. I know this is long, but he is just so excellent and I cannot say it enough!
Also keep in mind that I'm sixteen years old, on my summer vacation and this doctor is worth me taking the time to write a review.
