I went to the doctor today. I am down 23 pounds!! Not sure how much skin was removed but super excited. He was very pleased with my results...so much so he wanted to remove every other staple. I was saying "you said 2 weeks"?? he is going to do it Saturday to give me time to prepare myself! I just feel like i need them in longer but he says my incisions look amazing. I heal well that is great!! So this morning I needed to wear something nicer than my workout clothes to a meeting I had and I tried on 2 pairs of dress pants that used to fit and now they wont button??? I was freaking out this morning. This afternoon when I was at my doctors appointment I was reminded that I am swollen and it is a process. Patients...

I'm meeting my doctor this week I want his pictures then I will post those as well. I am loving the results. I just look more proportioned. I'm 5"11 so I'm tall but for the last 12 years I just thought I had big hips. I don't! That was my husbands first comment. Feeling good. Still taking it easy but not pain. I'm so surprised. I get out a little everyday. I was able to put my compression garment on all by myself yesterday. As all of you know that is no small feat! I know it's going to get better and better everyday.
One week!!
One week ago today I had my lower body lift. Still thrilled. My husband asked what happened to my hips? They are gone. I'm walking almost upright. Today I was able to get my compression garment on all by my self. That's a good feeling. Makes me more independent. Still swollen and my butt is numb which is a strange sensation. I'm going to post some pictures today. Need to get my before a from my surgeon.
