I underwent Blepharoplasty and Epicanthoplasty. I did these procedures because I initially had monolids. It gave me a tired look at times and I wanted a more bright and open eye look.

However, I am very worried about how red the scarring on the inner corner of eyes and how swollen the eyelids still are. will the swelling ever go away or will it stay like this forever?

If my eyes do indeed turn out all right, i do recommend him because I felt cared for and safe during the procedure and he told me everything i needed to know.

Hi xocherie -- Welcome to RealSelf and thank you for sharing your story with us. It's possible you still have some swelling, but to be sure, why don't you also post your question on our Doctor Q&A forum? They'll be able to look at your photo and advise if this is normal healing or not.

Good luck and please keep us posted on your progress. :)

At 3 weeks, your eyelids look pretty good. It's natural looking. I'm amazed.

I dont think they look natural looking haha. They did swell down however. I love them now!

At 6 months, you look gorgeous like a supermodel. I want your doctor to do surgery on my eyelids. But it's too late now. I had my eyes done somewhere else 13 days ago.

My left side have eyelashes that seem to point upward. They were that way immediately after surgery. Now it's 13 days post op, my lashes are still pointing up like an arrow. Do you think it will come down soon?

Thanks,
Anna

Thanks! :)

Yeah, definitely. Even after a couple of months, I saw a huge change in swelling. Your eyelashes are most likely pointing upward due to the swelling. Trust me, I know what it feels like to be worried about your eyes not returning to normal but it will. 13 days is nothing, honestly. Wait like 3 months and it will probably look almost normal by then. After about 6 months it'll basically be fully healed.

Oh, you got that done in South Korea??? Your doctor is great good, but I heard from a korean friend of mine that most korea women get doiuble eyelids there and this is why the plastic surgeon's there are so good cuz they had a lot of experience. It is like the most popular surgery in Korea. I also heard from my friend that it isn't cheap either for foreigners. You add the plan, meal, hotel, etc and the price of say $3,000 dolllars can add up to more than expected.
